Coachella Valley Resort and Golf Scene

One of the major reasons that the Coachella Valley has been able to court the rich and famous over the years is because of such a well developed and vibrant golf and resort community. The Coachella Valley boasts an extroadinarily large number of four star resorts as well, which considering how small the Coachella Valley is, one realizes there must be something going on. An area with only 1 million residents counts so many resorts and country clubs to its credit because of such an intense amount of vacationers. Did you know that the Coachella Valley as a whole has its population nearly double during the winter months? While much of this is due to Palm Springs, you can also credit the Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and the other surrounding cities. All of these cities cater to the luxury life style, which is due to the chic community that has developed since those early Hollywood years.

Golf is, without question, one of the more beautiful sports out there. Courses are designed specifically to be both challenging and aesthetically pleasing. Even public courses are far and away more beautiful than most public parks. Golf has, arguably, become the successor to the public park. Able to be played and enjoyed over the course of multiple hours, the course becomes an community meeting area. In the Coachella Valleyg golf has become this masterpiece of sport. The entire area is devoted to playing this game.

In terms of relaxation, the Coachella Valley is prime. In addition to the golf, many of these country clubs cater to those looking to experience the wonderful four star spas that the area has. If one wants to explore the environment, the hiking is second to none. Surrounded by the San Jacinto mountains, one can really get out there on both foot and horseback. Being a vacation destination, one can easily explore ways to relax and escape the day to day.
