Originally developed by George and Robert Alexander, the neighborhood consisted of 90 new adjacent homes designed for the sun and heat of the desert. The neighborhood’s architect, William Krissell introduced many attributes that defined the quintessential Palm Springs home including open carports, concrete block, breezeways, sun flaps and butterfly roofs.
