Established in 1952, Tamarisk Country Club was the second 180 hole private golf club in the Coachella Valley. Homes in the community were designed by notable midcentury architects William Cody, William Krisel and E. Stewart Williams and offer classic indoor/outdoor living in a comfortable and historical setting. Many A-lister residents in the 1950a included Danny Kay, Jack Benny, George Burns and four of the five Marx Brothers.
