Thunderbird Estates is one of the most established and colorful golf communities in the Coachella Valley. Originally known at Thunderbird Ranch, the location was transformed into a private golf community with 14 original “cottages” along the fairways designed by William Cody. Other notable architects include E. Stewart Williams and Hugh Kaptor, and William Krisel.
